"J-Jax?" I turn my head slightly to the right, but I keep my eyes on my feet.
"Yes?" I call out to the voice.
"Is He coming?" It whispers back. I nod once before turning my head away from his direction. I believe his name is Landon.
"Jax?" He calls out again. I tighten my arms around myself before clearing my throat.
"Yes. He comes every day."

Jax has been taken. He's lived in the dark for most of his life now, and hasn't thought about getting out in a while.
