Daniel Sharman was best known for his role as "Isaac Lahey" on Teen Wolf and "Kol Mikaelson" on The Originals. After leaving both of these shows, finding work became increasingly difficult.

Eventually he gave up. He instead decided to follow his true dream: becoming a writer.

Matthew Daddario never liked being an actor. He was told to pursue acting, just like his sister, Alexandra, by his parents. After Shadowhunters surprise cancellation, he decided the limelight just wasn't for him anymore.

So, Matthew begins working at a nightclub. Daniel becomes an investigative journalist.

After a sudden lawsuit is filed against an employee at the nightclub, Daniel is assigned to investigate the case for the paper.
