Carter is 17 year old senior that lives with her stepdad 30(Edward) and stepbrother18(jase) your probably wondering what happened to her mom(Bella). Well her mom killed her self 3 years ago, a year after being married, she slit her wrist while no one was home . Carter was only in the eighth grade she thinks  Edward  used to hit her because when she used to go see her in the middle of the night she would still have makeup on and her wrist would be red but now that she's gone they both beat her and has attempted to rape her but she would always manage to run  and if she tried to escape out of the house they would beat her senseless and if she told anyone that person would get killed but the only person that Knows is her bestfriend and she swore not to tell anyone so this is Carter's living hell.
