    'the story goes like this'

  I was a star. the brightest star of them all. I was worshiped and loved by all, I granted wishes and had magnificent powers. people called me a Goddess, and some people still do. but that was the past and this I now. 
   don't you find it funny how you can shine brighter than the rest and be loved by all but when you stop shining even if it's just for a second everyone stops caring. they think of you as broken so they do what everyone does to broken things they throw it away. 
   I found out that you never really know who's there for you until that one moment....... the moment you stop shining and everyone turns there back on you. 

   I'm no star now, I'm just a human being with supernatural powers. well let's see how long these humans can last without there star(me). my name is now Phoebe Light. Can a star love? What would happen if a star loved? Better yet does love still apply to fallen star?

Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other. Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets. They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But my life turned upside down when my past is exactly what I should have left alone. Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. I have been in and out of foster homes since I can remember, living with families I knew nothing about. Being the outcast and them constantly asking me what's wrong because I simply did not speak. The only thing that kept me sane was my good grades throughout school. I got the satisfaction of doing the one thing that people kept telling me over and over I couldn't do. I stayed to myself and graduated high school with honors, getting a full-ride scholarship to any college of my choice. Of course, by having this accomplishment, it didn't make it any easier for me between my foster families. To them, I became the girl who was better than them. But I didn't care because when I turned twenty I finally got to start making my own choices. This is where I wonder if the first choice I made was the right one.
