So the story is set, long after most of humanity was destroyed by the "apocalypse." (A solar flare reached earth and scorched away most life on earth) What few humans were left built up a new society, known as Eden. But the government plans to build a war of mindless slaves to take over the rest of the world. The only one to stop them is "The Awakened One." Humans go about their daily lives, never knowing they're mearly pawns of a dead mind, chipped at 16 to destroy the "Awakened one." Wayren is just a boy, or is he. When he turns 16, and suddenly everyone is trying to kill him, he certainly doesn't think so.
He escapes Eden, only to be found by those who call themselves "The Awake." Will Wayren rise to his destiny and cast out the filth, or fall to the power of the corrupt Eden?

So the spiral light at the center of the universe was shattered into 9 shards and the universe has been in chaos ever since. Because the spiral light shattered, the Crystal Core was formed, and the Galra have been invading peaceful planets to them more power for the empire, and all that stuff. So Crystal Bearers are sent out on missions, freeing captured planets, freeing prisoners, recruiting new Crystal Cadets, stopping space piracy and other junk like that. Hostage. Prisoner. What ever you wish to call it. They won't let me nor my friends leave. Taken by a cannibalistic family and claimed I was being adopted into their family. I already have a family of my own. And what of my friends that's with me? They're the main course. In the little town of Norbury, Canada, there have been several people disappearing without a trace. A couple of my colleagues and I decided to do a news article and discover the reasons for all the missing people. However I never realized the horrors that would await us in the quiet little town. The world has been changed by a series of massive earthquakes that no one knows the causes of. Very few people seem to be left from the rubble but a small group of people that have forged out a living on New Virginia Beach. After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?Complete
