"Are you the only family of Hallie?" The doctor asked him. "Y-yes." He sighed pushing his sweaty hair behind with his tired bloody fingers. "Who are you, may I ask? Her brother?" The doctor asked lowly, his white hair and thick moustache making Bradley sweat. "No. I'm her father." He simply replied. "You seem young. Where is the mother?" The old doctor asked slightly disgusted by Bradley. "Dead." He sniffed. His head started to spin. The doctor was asking too many questions. "I'm sorry to hear that." The doctor cleared his throat mentally slapping himself for asking such a grim question. This made it harder for him to tell this 22 year old boy. "Your daughter has stomach cancer. Last stage." He said softly. His stomach doing back flips looking at Bradley's face fall. "How long does she have doctor?" Bradley shook his head locking his hands above it. "She is dying Bradley. She has about three days to live." Just three days to live. ©Copyrights Reserved.

TW: THIS STORY INCLUDES SE*UAL A*SULT "You have a daughter?" Jack asked me as he watched Elena come running into the living room. Her school backpack was hanging on her elbows, and it hit her butt as she ran. Jack looked from me to Elena as she ran over to me, wrapping her little arms around my leg. Elena's cute brown curls bounced as she moved, and her big brown eyes shone as they looked from me to Jack. "Mama, who's he?" She asked me, her tinkly little voice ringing in my ears. "He's a friend of Mama's; why don't you go into the kitchen and wait for me, baby?" I asked her as I stroked her hair, and she looked suspiciously at Jack before nodding. She walked away slowly, eyeing Jack as she did. "You have a daughter?" He asked me again, and I looked into his eyes, trying to gauge his feelings on this matter. "Is it so bad if I do?" I asked, standing with my hands on my hips. "No, I hope to get to know her when you're ready." He said, and I blinked, a little astonished that he would be so cool with me having a child. Most dominant male wolves are against the idea of their mates ever having been with another. Hope Mayson was only 18 when her whole world shifted, and her best friend died. She died and left everything to Hope, including her baby daughter, Elena. To keep Elena safe from her father, Hope took her newly adopted daughter and ran. For 5 years, Hope kept Elena safe until Hope's mate, Jack, came into their lives, and soon the past catches up with the present.
