Death Never Dies

The words in this poem that I made,
Will all be forgotten one day.
The paper you feel will degrade.
The words you read will fade.
The body you exhibit will decay,
But your mark on the world will remain.
Everyone you know will die.
The tears in your eyes will dry.
So do what you want or cry
Because it's only a matter of time.
But many curious ears
Will find stories of you that are told.
There is no need to shed tears
when the letter of death unfolds.
But is death truly what we fear?
Or is what we fear the unknown?
