The elders believed that when the chosen one was born, there would be chaos.  Unluckily for Star, her world comes crashing down when her only mate, the one man that is supposed to love her, all flaws included, rejects her.  Not knowing why, she shoves herself into books and the history of their kind to figure out why the Moon Goddess would bless her with such an unloving mate.
