Jasmine Chien, an intelligent AP student with a partial scholarship, helps her family's restaurant, Liping's Kitchen, whenever she can. She attends a prestigious private school with a whole hoard of rich spoiled brats. It seems as if her bff, Jen, and she are the few less ignorant people in the whole school. One day, Jasmine returns home to find that she owes her landlord nearly ten thousand dollars, and that she has a little more than a month to pay. When the popular rich boy, Trent, needs a tutor to raise his grades in order to not get kicked out, his parents turn to Jasmine, who has the highest intelligence level in her school, for help, offering an amount she can't turn down. Every dollar counts. When Jasmine realizes that there is no way to suitably earn that required amount of money, she cognizes that she has to find a way to save her family from homelessness. And the only way just might not be honest. Maybe stealing from the more well-off kids would be a good idea. Jasmine decides that in order to get the money that she needs oh-so much, she must find a way to wedge herself into the prosperous society. But will she be able to sneak past the rich players and bitches while supporting her family and restaurant??
