What would life be like if music was described as foolish or uncouth? If anyone who participates in it by humming or playing piano is looked down on? This is what Bella Watson has to live through in Key Change. Growing up in Dremwell is easy for most people, but not Bella, ever since she found an old keyboard in the attic of her row house home. Bella constantly plays, and teaches herself about the instrument, never telling anyone but her mother about it. This is fine for Bella for a while, but she eventually grows tired of society's opinion of music that limits her, and decides to do something about it. But can she really change what has been for so long? Can she sway everyone? Will she be able to make the town hear the music?
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
