If you had to choose between the monster that you love, or the world that rejected you, which would you choose?

Aisha Chenoah lives in world where the colour of your eyes determines who you are, what powers you possess, and what you'll most likely be destined to do, although it's not nearly as straightforward as that, nothing in life ever is. As Aisha with the green eyes of a healer and her constant companion Dae, with the smokey grey eyes of a Lord, prove. Together since the day Aisha saw her mother's lifeless corpse burn in a fire at the innocent age of five. They travel the world together, laugh there joy and live their lives together. To her Dae is everything, friend and protector, parent and guardian, the only person whom she loves and trusts so deeply, which seems to be the way he wants it. Anyone that tugs at her heartstrings or hears her radiant laugh seems to die. Everyone but Dae. Does she truly know her handsome comrade? Does she truly know his kind grey eyes when they turn cold and silver? Does she truly know him when he kills so easily, as though the world is there to do as he bids, and he will show not the slightest guilt or remorse. She is not naive to his nature, and yet time and time again she forgives and forgets the emotionless monster he becomes, her perhaps she simply doesn't care. How can she know to run away, instead of into his loving arms when those are the arms that raised and protected her. How can she know to hate him, when loving him is all she's ever known.

WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION There are imperfect moments in every life-but sometimes, there are perfect accidents . . . What's the point of pretending nothing has changed when everything has? It's the last summer before college, and Jonas Avery knows he should be excited. Instead, he hides out at home, avoiding his friends, his family, and everything that resembles his old life. Because nothing will be normal again-because of The Accident, when everything started falling apart. Brennan Davis knows she needs to stand up and face her anxiety-the deep, dark, debilitating dread that rules her everyday life. Because what stops her from going out into the world and just living is going to get a whole lot worse. She's leaving for college in the fall, where she'll be confronted with even more to worry about. To get back up sometimes you have to fall down, hard . . . When Jonas crashes into Brennan-in a harmless, albeit embarrassing fender bender-the two teens connect in ways they never expected. As friends, they help each other overcome their biggest falls and faults, and soon discover that while love can't fix everything, it's sometimes a place to start. Sensitive, wry, and unabashedly authentic, The Opposite of Falling Apart isn't about finding perfection in another person or fixing the things we think are broken. Instead, Micah Good has penned an enchantingly honest novel about accepting the very pieces of ourselves that make us unique, whole, and undeniably human.
