Hallie Horan is just a normal seventeen year old with a normal, ordinary life. Well, almost normal. Three years ago, her older brother Niall Horan auditioned for the X-Factor, and made it! He got put in a group of four other boys, and made it big as the new boy band, One Direction. Now that Niall is 1/5 of One Direction, Hallie is always getting mobbed by paparazzi, bullied at school, and has a tough social and home life. Even though Niall doesn't realize it, when he is away, her father abuses her and makes her life hard and miserable. Her mother was the only one that knew about it, and would always be there to stop it, but not anymore. Hallie's mother died right after Niall left for Britain. After several years, Hallie had gotten tired of her father's abuse, she tells Niall, and he immediately takes her in. She moves from Ireland to Britain, where she meets Annabella, Harry's adopted sister, who had gone through some of the same things, and the other boys, who just might change her life. Now, Hallie has a chance to become recognized, and she can finally live a better life and learn how love and friendship can help you through it.
