LUKESSE!
[DISCONTINUED DUE TO NO PLOT]
(Don't read this. Writing is bad and storyline is jumbled, but if you insist, proceed with caution.)
After the Order got back from their adventure, they start to settle down. Finally able to relax, Lukas and Jesse are married- sometimes struggling to handle the past. However sad at times, this fanfic is a must-read for lukesse shippers, (they're mah OTP) and yeah.
(If you haven't read Silent screams, a fic I wrote that comes before this- please go back and read it. Things will make a lot more sense.)
(No smut. The most active I'll get is kissing. That's it.) and I don't suggest reading this if you aren't a fan of Lukesse or Axelivia ships- cause those are the ships that this book revolves around. (Mostly lukesse though- cover, duh.)
~Prologue~
The moonlight shone brightly through the windows, Jesse sobbing in my arms.
This happened often, now that her memories from the past were so near.
"You're safe, Jesse..." I soothed, her head resting on my shoulder.
Jesse started hiccuping, her sobs turning into silent tears.
I hate seeing Jesse like this.
Broken down, sobbing at memories that I share too much familiarity with, it pains me to see her this way.
"I'm sorry..." She croaked. "It's just that... He keeps coming back... He always comes back..."
I remembered Doctor Jackston, who killed himself to avoid being arrested.
His last words still fresh in my mind.
'Just remember... Jesse... Lukas... I will always be here. Always watching. I will never really go away, and what I did to you two will never go away.'
Just remembering it made my heart beat faster, and chills run up my spine.
"He can't hurt us..." I forced a smile, pulling the covers higher over Jesse and I, the cold air stinging. "The damage has already been done. Everything's going to be okay."
"Everything's going to be okay..." Repeated Jesse, her voice a whisper.
