Recovering from an apocalypse, the crime-ridden Kingdom of Vinimrin gains a new teenage Queen: Annalavender Court.

She gets lost and finds a sort of gate that leads to a world full of monsters and creatures and falls through, fainting at when knights and warriors come. A product of NaNoWriMo. Evelyn Moore - daughter of the dreaded Ivy, must flee her past, her mother's lineage, and her village. Ivy was an admired healer, before the illness took over the village. The illness was incurable. Ivy and Evelyn struggled day and night, trying to rescue the sick. All who fall ill end up in a misty graveyard. They are driven to the woods and they build a small hut in the dense forest, barely living from day to day, but peacefully. That is, until the town's leader gathers enough men to track Ivy, and take her back to the village to be burned. Evelyn knows that she'll be next - being the only descendant of Ivy. She packs up her few belongings and gallops deeper and deeper into the woods until her eyelids fall, causing her to lose control of the horse, fall off of it and into a black abyss. When Evelyn wakes up, there are two midnight blue eyes staring back at her. Where is she? How did she get there? Why can't she remember anything? What is her name? She lost her virginity to the Wyrm years ago and isn't considered worthy to offer herself as a connection to the land any longer. But Maigred's daughter is growing up; in a few years she will be taken to the Wyrm's bed to be defiled, and Maigred is willing to risk everything to prevent that.
