Adelyn Pellish was just trying to get out of her bad home where she was constantly abused. She never thought that this one attempt to escape would be her final one. Rhett Melack, someone she's never even met, somehow knows everything about her and her life. He's her guardian. Now she's whisked away from her drunken foster father forever to go try to build a new life with her 3 sisters...It would have been wonderful if their evil father hadn't been coming back from the dead to try to destroy them.

Lucia Pellish is an accomplished pick pocket. She never had a family or friends. She never wanted any. She ran away from the orphanage when she was 9 years old and ever since then she's been stealing whatever she can from whoever she can. That is until she accidentally pick pockets something from the wrong person, Jaxen Venzor. Apparently he's her guardian and he's going to take her to a hidden world to go meet her sisters and stop her evil father. Lucia however just wants to go back to pickpocketing.

Viviana Pellish always knew that a day would come when she had to send guardians to collect her sisters. She just hoped it wouldn't be so soon. She was never treated like a normal person because of her father's corruption. They all thought she was evil too. But people are going to have to change their minds because now Viviana and her sisters are the only hope left for humanity's survival. However...Viviana is unsure if her loyalties truly rely with the people that mistreated her her entire life.
