Violet Argent was born into a gang. Not just any gang, the notorious top dogs in the state. They're known as the 'Silvers'. Violet was one of three children, and the only daughter to Axel Argent, the gang's leader. Three years ago, a tragic shooting between the Silvers and their rival gang, the 'Black Rats', left Violet with only one of her older brother's, Aiden, who now runs the joint. After another attack on the Silvers, Violet is forced to go into hiding for her own protection; and she's not happy about it! She does everything she can to draw attention to herself, so she can go back home and be involved with the gang, even if that means putting herself in harms way. But does she really understand the almighty weight of the name she's baring and the size of the target on her head? After all... She is an Argent. *****This book is recommended to 16+. It contains strong language and violent and sexual scenes throughout. *****

Being raised in a children's home leaves a child much to figure out about where they came from. Calla Topaz was raised in a home for orphans since she was eleven, not able to remember much of her life before. A traumatic memory of blazing fire and large killing beasts is the only thing she can recall. Something about the memory has triggered her brain to forget everything else, leaving Calla to wonder who she really is and where she came from. Being diagnosed as mentally unstable, she has been required to stay in mental therapy, only to get the same conclusions that she is mental. Turning eighteen comes with new turns, along with finding her way in the world. Calla roomates with Mckenzie, a friend from the children's home. Mckenzie is wild, free, and boy crazy, the complete opposite of who Calla is. On a late night when Mckenzie convinces Calla to go out with her, Calla meets Jay. Jay is dark, dangerous and everything Calla tries to stay away from. But he's always in the right places at the right time. And she can only deny the unexplainable feelings that grow for him. Since Jay's been around everything seems to start unraveling, including Calla's past. Will Calla be able to finally remember her past and unravel the scars of the truth? ______________________ Publishing weekly *Actively rewriting 1/4/25* Please reread if started before this date.
