Grace liked spring. She liked how it brought new beginnings and she liked the idea of it being a time for second chances. Nowadays, spring brings her pain. 

The eighty-sixth annual Diamond City eisteddfod is one of Grace's many banes of her existence.  One would never have thought playing the piano used to be Grace's favourite past-times.

This is a story about expectations, the discovery of self and independence. It is a half-standalone half-companion short-story written for an English assignment, so please excuse any discrepancies.Todos los derechos reservados

An unexpected encounter and a broken relationship force her to relive the unconventional summer in hopes of unlocking the key to the murders.

She had learned not to feel and especially not to hope. So when someone new comes into her life Kate does the best thing she can think of, she shuts them out. But, after a series of events in the course of one day, they are thrown back together, and Kate is given the chance to explain herself. Explain why she was so guarded and why she had closed herself off in the first place. And maybe along the way Kate learns that things aren't always so bad. I'm a textbook pessimist and I like it just the way it is. Eynal is a highborn boy who has whatever he could need to be happy but his outlook on life plagues him at every turn, obsessed by the notion that existence is entirely pointless living in his own world void of anything remotely positive he turns a blind eye to anything that is expected of him, but forces beyond him thrust an entirely new situation upon him that he fails to navigate with his usual indifference will he adapt and change as expected? or will he find a way to cast it aside as he always has. This story is based around medieval fantasy with some inspiration from the classics (Lotr, GOT) it will navigate the personal lives of two characters who are polar opposites and an increasingly fragile political situation in the world they live in *this is my first time ever writing something so if i suck please dont bully me XD*
