Antonia Somnusson was, like her brother Horace, a peculiar child. She had a similar peculiarity to her brother's; he could see the future, and she could see the past. They'd been separated as children, Antonia had been taken to a different Loop than her brother. But, when he sees that if she doesn't leave she'll be in danger, he begs Miss Peregrine to rescue her. Unfortunately, when they get to her, it's too late; the Loop has been raided, the ymbryne captured and every peculiar murdered. Except for Antonia. She must learn to get past the horrific sight she saw, while learning to deal with something even more horrifying: love.
