The Days With No Sun
Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. This is the evolution of my madness. A cluster of rants and thoughts and poems for you guys. Little Drummer Boy
It's amazing how one little choice can change a life. Not just for you, but for everyone around you. I knew that our family welcoming in a foster child would change things, but I never imagined how much. I never imagined the burden my new brother carried. But he didn't have to carry that weight on his own any longer. Sometimes family wasn't linked by blood. Sometimes a brother comes when you least expect it. Sometimes adventure comes when you step out by faith. Sometimes family is all you have Sometimes love leads to pain. But I'd embrace the pain all over again for him.
