This is a fanfiction following the events of the MCU's Captain America: Civil War
This story focuses on Steve Roger's greatest friend and ally, Bucky Barnes, The Winter Soldier, as he wakes from his induced slumber to discover Wakanda is in turmoil. After the destruction of Hydra Bucky is left crippled by his past and must battle with the ghosts of his memories and coming to terms with the blood on his hands. His primary focus now is to make amends, and to help T'Challa, Steve Rogers, and the rest of the Secret Avengers in a battle to save Wakanda all while hiding in plain sight from the Avengers and their hostile Sokovia Accords.
This is a fanfiction. I unfortunately do not know what will be featured in Avenger Infinity War, Black Panther, etc. I am writing this before the release of Doctor Strange, after the release of Captain America: Civil War. I choose to follow the story I'd like to see and hopefully some of you out there will enjoy it as well, and give it a like.
This will contain mature themes such as violence and possibly romantic and/or sexually mature situations if the story takes me there. I am writing it in between breaks of my novels, and will try and update is as often as possible. Apologies in advance for odd spacing, editing, or grammar mistakes. I write in Word, cut and paste and sometimes miss things in my fanfiction I normally wouldn't. Also I apologize in advance for any misuse of Marvel's MCU canon. I am a very big fan, but I'm also fully capable of making mistakes.

He knew people would come looking for him, especially Hydra and the Avengers.
