Our teacher asked us to write an essay to this particular title she gave us. She asked us to make a speech about it. The reason as to why she made us create one is that she wanted to know how we would express our inner thoughts and give our own meaning and opinion about the title, for she said that the title she gave had a lot of different interpretation... (Teacherxstudent) It might have been the way her hand moved effortlessly across the canvas with every stroke she made, or the way her eyes would shine when speaking about her passion that she adored so much, or maybe it was her smile that seemed to captivate me every time. She was perfect in her own way, and I wish I could tell her how much happiness she brings into my life by being present. How all my worries and fears seem to drown away when she's near, or how a simple "hello" makes my day. The only thing stopping me from getting close to her is that diamond ring on her left hand, and how terrible of a person I feel every time I think about her in ways I'm not suppose to, and the fact that I couldn't bring her into my fucked up life. Oh, and because she's my art teacher. Mrs. Shuler, if only you knew how much I adore you.

These poems are just some of the little pieces that make up my life. Whenever I get inspired by someone or something, I write a little story about it in the form of a poem. In a way, it helps me express what I have in my mind in a very vague way. I'm not that kind of a direct person, but there are things that are sometimes, better to kept secret. Here, these poems are what I wanted to say to my friends, to other important people, to people in general, to the world around me, to life and each detail it possesses. Each poem has a central theme, and around that revolves a certain story that I want to impart, something too delicate to be expressed directly, something too complicated. Here, I want to share who I am. That's ... probably all ... that I need to say.

Last week my class had finished the book, The Outsiders, by S.E. Hilton. I loved it. My friends loved it. Everybody in the entire class loved it. We also watched the movie and we all had to look away when Pony just had his hair cut and bleached. Anyway, I found these stories called Imagines and I found them really cool and I wanted to do one myself and I might make more considering how my friend said I "broke" her when she read it. I might make more, I don't know, but it was fun to write this. I also saw how small some of the other imagines are, so I made this one long but not too long but still long. It'll probably take 8 minutes out of your day, tops.
