31 parts Complete MatureJust 19 years old, Aryanna Kollie was faced with the challenge of a lifetime: rule the continent of Africa.
Born in Washington D.C., USA, Aryanna (better known as Arya), lived a simple, quiet life. Her mother died while she was young and her father was a businessman. Arya stayed out of the way and focused on her responsibilities growing up. She wasn't one to have much fun or experience many coming-of-age situations. Innocent and vulnerable, Arya's entire life took a full 360 turn after a generous political move by the world's five most developed countries put her father in a position to be the king of the entire continent of Africa. What's more, Arya's older brother wanted no part in their father's royal mess, ultimately giving up his title. That left Arya to be the heir of Africa, but that was okay because Arya knew she had time.
Until she didn't.
An underlying illness caused King Lawrence, Arya's father, to pass away far too soon, leaving Arya to be the Queen of Africa at just 19 years old. A single woman, inexperienced in the world of royalty and not even out of her teens yet, Arya faced scrutiny and tribulations, having to show her strength and courage right off the bat. She knew being Queen would not be easy, but Arya never imagined that ascending to the throne would involve rigorous loss, emotions heavier than one can control, betrayals, and constant sacrifice.
