Edgar, a half-demon, hides out in the city of New York. There he's finally made a permanent life for himself, but to him it's simply survival. As much as he tries to tell himself he likes working for a Black Market, dealer, he feels like something significant is missing from his life. Now, a woman has come seeking out Edgar, asking for him to procure the "purest form of betrayal, in the form of heartbreak." He has six months to retrieve the essence, or else. Not only is he tasked with procuring such an essence, but Edgar is also thrown head first into a whirlpool of lies, conspiracies, and trying to not be captured by the law. The world pushes down on the little halfling, but can he push back?

Grace knows demons are bad, but that doesn't stop her from running off with one in order to save the world. *** Grace isn't very good at the Angel life. Sure, she's one of the best Demon hunters around, but she's too fond of human habits and also happens to be in love with her mentor, Nate, which isn't exactly ideal. And when demon Robert Blackwing starts stalking her, claiming to know things that Nate refuses to explain, she can't help but be drawn to him. Caught in a forbidden romance which threatens to strip her of her very essence, Grace struggles to save humanity from a malevolent force which threatens to engulf the Earth and drain the energy out of every living soul. And, in the end, setting off the Apocalypse might be the only way to save the world. Content warning: This story contains violence Cover designed by Holly Thurston
