Okay just imagine....
Everybody has a spot on there wrist that gets hot or cold depending on how close you are to your soulmate. You wouldn't even know it's there until last year (2045)'s break through. If you hadn't heard, somehow , anyway scientists found a new chemical called Sehri. Because of this breakthrough a new theory was created. Everybody has Sehri in them, largest amounts are near the wrist. Sehri has a force almost like a magnet except only similar types of Sehri attract, we still don't know why but the closer they get the hotter they get. Your wrist won't burn you but it may have a reddish pinkish glow to it. The farther away from the same type of Sehri as you the colder your wrist may get and with it will comes a blueish glow. Now these temperatures aren't extreme so that's why people didn't notice them before. The colors are very faint but if you look at them they are there for sure. We don't know if people before 2018 had it or not, after a big meteorite hit earth most online files were lost so we only know what really happened after that. Some records were found on sheets of paper is what I think they called it, they say it was made from trees. Who would cut down innocent trees to make this weird paper. Any who, we can find out who our soulmates is this way. I have been trying for the last six months and my wrist has stayed pretty cold. I checked both wrists because it is different for everyone.

SCREENPLAY VERSION.... 18+ readers only ❤️ I've lived the last eight years of my life in pain. Pain that should've brought me to my knees, with a big fat "Screw-you world, I'm outta here!" Still, I refused to give up. Never did I want to be that weak, pitiful woman I was with him. Our relationship, (If you can even call it that) became toxic. I knew it was, but I didn't see this one coming. No, that's a lie. It was totally his style. It didn't surprise me at all. I lost so much confidence because of him, so finding love was a complete no no. I just couldn't allow anybody else in after living with the devil himself. It's impossible. I'm weak and broken, tormented by monsters that keep reaching for me, touching my body, hurting me, living marks on my skin and soul. "Are you coming to bed firefly?" He says to me laying his hands over my waist joining me in looking over the city. "I want to look out for a little longer if that is alright?" The warmth that forever lingers in the air, never burning the skin, but always reminding about what is around us. I force air into my lungs feeling the unexpected warmth fill me. He stands in the room watching me even though he said he was getting ready for bed. He is worried about me, about me jumping. I have contemplated it I will admit, but he would stop me before I fell even two feet. I was stuck, and no one could save me. Not even myself, my fucking weak self. His presence is demanding no matter where we are, but right now I could sense everything about him, and I try to suppress the unwanted feelings that curl right under my skin. "Firefly? About done?" He calls out and I release my hand from the guard rail not realizing that as I looked at the lights that covered the shining city with the falling fire in the background that my subconscious was thinking about how nice it would be... how relieving it would be... to just fall. Sweat started to form all around my body as the pain consumed me. It was 9pm and this had to be the worst wave of heat I've ever experienced! My body ached as the flames traveled from my core, spreading to the rest of my body. I hate heat, every type of heat, but mainly this one. Heat, in my pack, is a bitch! The second you turn 16 your heat starts. Then for the rest of your life you get a heat cycle once a month, as if having a period isn't bad enough. The heat happens right after your period, leaving you 2 weeks of peace as a girl if you find your mate in your 16 years of life! If you did not find your mate at by 22 it will be every 2 weeks! Your period is still once a month, thankfully, but the heat cycle directly after your period is the strongest! Leaving you ONE week of peace...unless of course you don't find your mate by the time you turn 32. If you are unlucky enough to not have found your mate by the time you are 32, then yes it will be EVERY week! Leaving you NO peace!! Once you find your mate it goes back down to once a month, thankfully. Lucky, or lucky for me, I'm 17 meaning I've gotta deal with this once a month. This one in particular is the worst one yet!
