But one night can change everything as Henry is about to find out. One quiet night in a cafe, celebrating a successful show, fate hits his family. Two gangs burst through the cafe leaving behind a lot of damage and four dead bodies.

Henry survives only to see one of the gang members get off via witness protection. He slowly descends into madness as he struggles to cope with his loss and the apparent lack of justice.

A year later a series of accidents start happening to the jury of the Morton case. Even the two police officers and the judge are not immune.
