Ash lives a normal life in Maccow, Iowa, which has a population of about 3,000 people. Ash hears about multiple people dying in a short time span of a few months. The police department is calling the disturbing deaths a result of "animal mauling". If animal mauling is scars on the neck and drained of blood, then Ash believes it. When the school year starts she meets Liam, the hot new guy that is now flirting with her. But the more Ash gets to know him, the more suspicious she gets. Is he really the guy he says he is?
