The Town: The series takes place after Isabella's ordeal in the short story version. It's about a young girl Isabella, Bella for short wakes up thinking she had the worst nightmare of her life. Relieved to find everything back to normal, with the exception that her family and friends have no idea about any curse or of any past disappearances. Flashbacks flood her

discovers one more thing, she has powers. The power to heal and/or harm.
Halloween night with an impromptu heroic act she unknowingly shows her powers in front of her friends at a small party in an abandoned barn in a field. Not understanding what has become of her she's also unaware of another threat. This person is watching every move she makes. This person guided her into the woods the day everyone disappeared and now this person is back. What will Bella discover about her self, her powers and The Town. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. However, when Frank discovers that these strange powers may render her immortal, she has no choice but to go on a quest through the dreary and unwelcoming town of Wroughtwood to discover how to kill herself and the alleged cult members. Although the journey remains within the two square miles of Wroughtwood, Frank and Caroline's investigation reveals cannibals, prophecies, a slew of terribly flawed and scorned townsfolk, and, of course, the apocalypse. Hopefully Frank will get her happy ending, whatever it ends up being.
