When Angelfish befriends the young Primrose, she seems to finally find somebody who understands the voices. But Primrose only seems like a hidden crypt, waiting to be discovered. Lyre is awkward and bookish and hardly fits in anywhere. He hopes to find a place in this wild family, and he almost does, but Primrose goes to him with her secret and he struggles to keep it. Primrose is the one thing stopping him from truly finding a place in the world, so why should he keep her secret? What should he do? Sunkeeper is usually happy and bright, but Primrose is just too... interesting. Like Knowledgebringer would say, "a book too interesting to put down." She was sitting on the rocky floor now with her back against an uneven wall, and it was trying to pin her down and hold her still. She kept her eyes turned away and struggled helplessly, but it was no use. It was strong like a human man too, and she couldn't keep it off of her. The wings had moved until they curved around them both and shut out a lot of the light. Its face was so near hers that she could feel its breath brushing against her skin. "Please just look at me for a second. Just look. I'm not going to hurt you."
