To Warm Frozen Fingers // A Short Story Collection
I like to write. As you may be able to tell. I haven't been very good at writing lately. As you may also have been able to tell. That's why I've decided to write a short story collection. The stories won't interlink, some may vary wildly and you might even wonder if they were written by the same person (the answer is yes). Overall, I'm aiming to write 23 stories, which was one per day for 23 days but I failed at that (*seethes* college work...) so now I'm just aiming to finish it before winter is over! The stories won't be very long - I'm only allowed to write for 10 minutes per story, just to get me going again (and literally warm my fingers, I get really really cold fingers for some reason) and the most I've ever written in that time is around 500 words. Perfect- A woman visits her neighbors house. Finding Peace- A man's final minutes. On the Theory of Rain and Mars- A girls dreams and her life on Mars. Memories of Snow-A girl's memories of someone close to her. A Story-A woman finds something of her mother's that rises many questions. Emotional// The one-shot book
Most of my book ideas come from an suddent surge of emotion. I need to write it out so I can get it off my chest. Or rather belly. When I get an idea it just starts swelling in my stomach and spreads to my lungs and it hurts but I'm so inspired and hungry that I want to write the one-shot quickly. Or slowly. THERE'S SMUT BUT YOU CAN IGNORE IT.
