Kai, an 18 year old recruit determined to prove his worth to HIDAM, Humans In Defense Against Monsters. Vampires, werewolves, demons, and other monsters have been attacking humans since they appeared in the 1940s, no one knows for sure how they came to this world or who is ruling them, if they have a ruler. Kai's first mission for HIDAM is to protect the transportation of corpses from the morgue to a secure graveyard to be buried, but then a group of savage vampires attack. Among the vampires is Takeshi, a notoriously violent and dangerous vampire, known for the horrific and strategic attacks on the HIDAM. If Kai can capture him, then he will surely prove his worth to the HIDAM.
TW; gore, like the demonata series level gore and also sex because it is a love story (gee I wonder who between maybe the two characters mentioned already lol)
