Dan had never been serious when it comes to love, so he broke a lot of hearts. Lucy Nicole Fanning; classified as the school's angel. She was pretty, kind, normal and generous to everyone. Lucy and her best friend, Phil, were the kindest people on campus. 

Phil told Lucy that Dan was trying too get to her. Moreover, trying to sweep her off her feet. Lucy knows Dan, so she never falls for his charm. But then, she's always wondered... What if Dan could do good?


Now, here's where the story gets a lot more interesting. Dan and his family move into Lucy's neighborhood... But where? Lucy found out, that her neighbor, is the actual bad boy from her school. One day, while Lucy was walking home, she got herself in trouble. A mysterious man pulled a knife at her. Lucy tried to defend herself, but the knife was getting too close to her stomach. Then another man shows up, punching the killer in the face, stealing his knife and kick him in the area. The other man turns out to be Dan Howell, as he smiles brightly, onto Lucy's face.

And then Dan's parents decide he needs to love someone rather than himself, and when Phil shows up at his mansion steps, Dan's parents grow fond of him- so much that the two are exchanging rings and Phil is moving in with his new spouse. They tell Dan he should give it a few months, to be patient, and if he still doesn't like him then they'll sign the divorce papers and call it quits. Marriage isn't perfect, right? Well this one is the exact example. But they could always pretend.
