Venna Galloway takes the same path everyday. Straight past the Castle, down to the well, where she would sit following chore after chore set by her loving Mother. But on day, her Sister comes by, holding a letter which may effect her life forever. Unable to break away from societies watchful glare and save her family's secret, she follows along, just like every other teenage girl of the 19th century, except she didn't enjoy it, unlike the rest of them. Breaking hearts and mending others is not the usual for Venna, but will it eventually become the norm?

A King's Choice is a historical fiction about one girls who life changes, but the question is; is it for better, or for worse?

  ✳Being loved isn't everything, but being is✳

I CHOSE TO SET THIS NOVEL IN THE EARLY 1800's AROUND 1830's AND I KNOW THAT THE KING AT THAT TIME WAS IN FACT KING WILLIAM (IV - 1830 to 1837) WHO WAS CLOSELY FOLLOWED BY QUEEN VICTORIA (I - 1837 to 1901), (SO I WILL BE REFERRING TO THIS STORY AS THE VICTORIAN ERA OR THE 19th CENTURY.) PLEASE NOTE THAT MY KING WILLIAM IS NOT THE SAME, HE'S A MADE UP CHARACTER AND I CHOSE HIS NAME BEFORE MY RESEARCH OF THE CURRENT MONARCH.

YES I AM AWARE THAT KING WILLIAM WAS NOT ON THE THRONE FOR LONG AND HE DID HAVE 10 KIDS, NONE OF WHICH WERE CALLED NOAH, SO THIS IS A MADE UP KING WILLIAM AND A MADE UP PRINCE NOAH, THEY JUST HAPPEN TO BE SET UP IN THE SAME ERA.

I AM ALSO SORRY IF MY DESCRIPTIONS OF 19th CENTURY ENGLAND ARE NOT UP TO SCRATCH OR SIMILAR ENOUGH FOR YOUR IMAGINATION, I LIVE IN 21st CENTURY ENGLAND NOT THE 19th CENTURY ONE. JUST UNDERSTAND THAT MY MADE UP-ISH WORLD IS AS ADVANCED AS 19th CENTURY ENGLAND WAS, AND THAT IT IS A VARIATION OF ENGLAND THEN, IN PARTICULAR THE AREA OF NORTH YORKSHIRE. THIS STORY DOES NOT FEATURE THE SAME MONARCHY.
