"Go out with me?" he requested. I glared before continuing walking away from him and his annoying group of friends. "Oh, go on, Evans, you know you want too." called Potter's arrogant voice which caused me to scowl.
This was how it always was for Lily Evans and James Potter. He'd ask her out, she'd deny him. He'd keep trying, she'd ignore him. As Lily enters her sixth year, she realises that James Potter is changed and more mature. She finds herself becoming more and more attracted to the boy she once knew as an "arrogant toerag".
