I was writing this for my Honors ELA class and thought it would be a good story to upload here... This story takes place a couple hundred years into the future. 13 year old Kaitie lost her mother when she was 5 years old. Now it's just Kaitie and her father in a world where traditions of the past are considered dangerous. One day, while walking home from her school, murder was attempted on Kaitie, but she miraculously survived. but that's just barely scratching the surface of Kaitie's problems... There is some kind of romance in this story, but just a simple relationship! nothing inappropriate!
