17 year old Brendon Urie has been in and out of foster care all of his life. Since his mom is a whore and his dad passed, his mom agreed to put him in a foster family... Is it sad that she put him in there willingly? With this being said, he's never had a real family. Brendon doesn't expect anybody to love him ever again.
But what happens when he gets adopted, and the family loves him for who he is? Since, unfortunately, not everybody likes the gay boy.
So, new school means new friends... and possibly a new relationship? Battling to realize the difference between reality and his own mind, come along with Brendon as he figures out life and experiences new things.

My life left endlessly hopeless, I didn't want to have anything to do with anyone. I was done with people. After so much torment, I just didn't want to give anyone the privilege of my reactions to them. Until I met him. Brendon Urie, who slowly made his way into my heart and got me to open up the world, saving me from myself and freeing me. I would recommend reading My Saving Grace before reading this one, but it's not that big a deal if you do read this first, you might be a little confused on some things, but this is mostly written the same way as My Saving Grace, just with Dallon telling the story so I can explain how Dallon felt at certain points of the story.
