Riley Matthews is getting depressed by many things that are happening to her.  Her best friend Maya says that she ruined her and doesn't want to see RIley or talk to her either. Also her mom is disappointed of riley not having a talent and compares her to maya and prefers that maya is her daughter. Then Farkle tells her that she had to ruin their first day of high school and she can't fix anything. Lastly, Lucas her crush tells her can't handle her and she's too much for him and leaves her alone. Riley is losing the people she loves and cares about but they don't even care about her. One night while she was in her room she heard her mom talking of how selfish she is, and how she get  dramatic about things, and wishes that she wasn't her daughter with too much pressure and no one to protect her or comfort her, she runs away and joins a group of kids she meets. 1 1/2 year later she becomes famous and has to go to new york for a fashion show. What happens when she sees familiar faces? Will she hold steady or unsteady? Will new feelings be discovered?
