"Let's play a game." He says in a more serious tone.

"What game?" I ask, raising my eyebrow in curiosity.

"The 'Yes' game"

"Care to elaborate?"

"Well, the yes game is a game where you have to say yes to everything anyone asks of you or tells you to do. The only rules are 1)we cannot tell anyone about this game, and 2)we cannot use the game against each other. So that means you cannot make me make out with our against my will." He smirks. "Are you in?"

"I wanted to talk to you," he said simply. "We had an argument about why he doesn't want us talking." I was confused. "What are his reasons anyway? It seems kinda stupid to keep us from talking." "Agreed," Nathaniel said. "The first reason was that I like you... a lot. And two, he said that it was the fact you like me and that he didn't want your heart to get broken." I was so happy that it was dark outside. "Aren't you with Veronica?" He sighed. "She broke up with me when she saw us together behind the Math & Science building. Ronnie knew how I felt about you but she couldn't just accept the fact that I like you instead of her. To be honest, we never were really dating. She just said that we were." My cheeks burned. "You have a crush on me? The star basketball player of Merrytime High School has a fucking crush on me?!" I squealed. "Why didn't you tell me?" "Your brother. Every time I've tried to tell you, your brother wouldn't let me," he replied sourly. Then he smiled coyly. "But he isn't in the way now, is he?" And his rough hands cupped my face and put his lips on mine. We went slow at first but we soon picked up the pace. My hands were up in his hair as he placed me onto the ground. But then for one pain inducing second, we stopped and he pulled away. His face was only inches from mine. "Are you sure you want to do this?" he asked busily as he put his hands in my sweater, his hands sending vibrations through my entire body. I wanted him. "Yes," was all I said before we locked lips once more. I was secretly hoping nothing could separate us again. BEST RANKING--> 112 IN #brothersbestfriend

Final book of the Jackson Series! Faye West is struggling to find friendship in college when Noah Jackson shows up, introducing himself as her new "roomie" and potentially much more. Sparks fly and things heat up between the pair as you would expect in close quarters before things for Faye take a turn for the worst. With pressure mounting from her father and a desperate need to please she finds herself caught in a war. Say yes to love or let it go? But maybe she won't have to make that decision on her own. Because once a Jackson boy falls in love he falls fast and the same goes for Noah. He only has one semester but can he show Faye what really matters in life before it's too late? Or is he going to lose her to someone else? Only time will tell. *** "Do you think I should give Kane a chance?" Noah looks down at me and his smile softens. "No." "You don't approve?" I grin as we get to our floor and start walking down the hall. "He's not right for you." "Really? You happen to know who the perfect man is for me?" I snort as I walk backwards while facing him. He grabs my hand and tugs me towards him making me yelp as I crash into him. "Noah!" For a moment he just stares at me before tucking my hair behind my ear with a gentle smile. My poor heart races a mile a minute because I don't think he realizes that he's still holding my hand and has it placed against his chest. I realize though. I notice. Just like I notice everything he does to me and how he makes me feel like I'm on cloud nine from a single touch. "You deserve the best. Not idiots like Kane." He rolls his eyes and we both smile at each other. "You deserve perfection Faye...because from what I've seen you are the epitome of that." I swoon. You're perfection to me too Noah. Can I have you? MC: Here's a How Not to Survive a Hostage Situation: Don't be me. Rule#1 Don't meet a guy fighting against cutlery. Rule#2 Don't get mistaken for someone with talent when you've absolutely none. Rule#3 Don't let a war, a high-stakes revenge plot, and one human weapon disguised as a person wreck your already failing life. (Oh, and don't expect me to tell you my name. You'll have to earn that.) But if you do? Congrats. You're now in my position-trapped, bleeding, and somehow still expected to be the sane one. Trowa: You're not the sane one. MC: Okay, first of all-rude. Second of all, enter Trowa. Trowa: Don't enter me into this. MC: Sigh. He's a questionable ally who moves people like chess pieces. Trowa: Incorrect. I don't play chess with lives. I just... redecorate the board when necessary. MC: Yeah. That's so much better. He plans. I panic. Together, we're one bad decision away from death. Trowa: Two. I have contingencies. MC: Oh, great. So we die second. Fantastic. And if we survive this, I'm going to need therapy. Trowa: You need therapy even if we don't. ################################## She was supposed to be a bystander. Now, she's bleeding in the middle of a war she doesn't understand. A single step-wrong place, wrong time-and now she's entangled in a brutal game of shifting alliances, weaponized secrets, and people who treat lives like collateral. She wanted quiet. Instead, she's dodging kidnappers, advanced tech, and a human weapon in the shape of a too-strategic ally. The worst part? She is not important-just unlucky. And in this kind of game, even those important don't survive long. ################################## For fans of sarcastic narrators, bad decisions, and humor that's basically Percy Jackson... if he grew up, got more cynical, bled more, and forgot how to run away. ##################################

"Okay, you know what? You're such a jackass and I never should have kissed you," I say. Colton stands up. His green eyes are just as angry as mine are. "Then why did you?" he asks. "I don't know!" I yell. "Why did you kiss me back?" "Hey, you kissed me," Colton says. "We already established that! God! It's like talking to a wall. Whatever I say just fucking bounces right off of you!" I yell. "Do you have any idea how maddening you are?" Colton looks at me. "You don't think you're infuriating?" Colton asks. I narrow my eyes. He starts to walk towards the door. I grab the M&M's and chuck them at Colton. He whips around, his eyes blazing green. "Where the fuck are you going? We're talking!" I yell, crossing my arms. He rubs the back of his neck where the M&M's hit him. "You wanna talk? Fine. Let's talk," Colton says. "You're obviously messed up from all of the shit your mom did." "Maybe I am! It's not your fucking business!" I pause. "Why do you even care? You're just some manwhore, right? A fuckboy?" Colton laughs dryly. "Is that what you think I am?" he asks. He takes a step closer to me. I'm two seconds away from kissing him again. Andy Reed-Collins has never fit in. With both of her parents being doctors, she's grown up in the hospital and has more friends there than she does at her high school. She's made it through most of her Senior year when she meets Colton Samson. Colton's bad for for her in every way. He's a nortorious manwhore who uses girls. But, when they become Biology partners, everything changes for Andy. As she spends more time with Colton, she can't deny their growing attraction to each other. The harder she tries to resist it, the more she's drawn to him. With his endlessly green eyes and knowing smirk, Colton sees through all of her walls. But just as Andy and Colton find each other, he turns out to be nowhere near perfect as he seems. Something's standing between her and Colton, and she's left with a choice. Will she choose him?
