The year is 2299 with the turn of the century upon the American Federation the royal family has decided to begin exporting and trading with the United Provinces of America to the east. However in the midst of this debacle the UPA is trying to figure out how to free the AF from its horrid discriminatory system set in place to force the people with the incorrect genetic trait to serve for life. That genetic trait being their eyes. Those born with brown eyes will be thrust into the lap of luxury while those with violet or blue will serve them. The Greens will provide their grocery decorative needs and the hazels will enjoy a life of upper middle class where they struggle for nothing and provide medical and educational needs for the communities. Through this carefully thought out system the royal family resides in what was once Washington state with their multicolored eyes giving them their high status. Thus we meet Ella a blue who has just begun to work. Thrust into the adult world at the ripe age of 15. When the city of Chicago is invaded in the year 2300. The system is suddenly removed and a war has begun and Ella's test scores are off the charts causing her to be shoved into a world full of technology and advancement she could only dream of. Meeting new people and losing the old we follow Ella through a life altering time changing experience as she fights to remove social stigma from the books.

It is a slow burn, but worth it. ~ After a devastating alien invasion leaves Earth in ruins, humanity struggles to survive in isolated zones, clinging to life behind barriers of failing technology. Lena, a skilled engineer with fierce determination, dedicates her life to maintaining what little remains of this protective technology-especially the light posts that keep the Xyvarians at bay. But when a search for medicine pulls her outside the safe zone, she encounters a certain alien. Towering, muscular, and adorned with sharp, curving horns, this alien is a calculated hunter, though his interest in Lena is anything but logical. Drawn to her, he pursues her in a dangerous game of cat and mouse, one that blurs the line between predator and prey. As Lena fights to evade capture, the tension between them ignites into a charged, forbidden attraction that neither can fully understand. He is unlike any alien she's ever faced-Machiavellian, dangerous, unyielding, yet inexplicably captivated by her. Lena, wary and unwilling to surrender, finds herself both repelled and fascinated by the Xyvarian who watches her with a gaze that burns with something far more primal. As she grapples with confusing desires and the disturbing revelation of a breeding program, Lena is forced to question everything-her survival, her humanity, and her heart. ~ (The artwork featured in my cover photo was sourced from Pinterest. I do not own the original artwork; I have only added the title and a few design details.)

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! Crash Landing by The_Autistic_Writer

*Book #1 In The Crashing Series* A long time ago, people used to think that Earth would be taken over by aliens. That we would all be destroyed from their advanced technology and uncaring demeanor towards Earthlings and our entire mass population in general. That we would be picked off like mice in a locked maze, all fighting to save ourselves, all trying to get to the cheese that was freedom. But we didn't know that the only thing that would destroy us would inevitably be ourselves. We didn't know that our planet was dying before our very eyes and our countries were at constant war with each other, each fighting for more power. More money. More everything. We didn't know....Until it was too late. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Set in the year 2655, Earth has been completely demolished by poverty, famine and war, leaving nothing behind but a handful of survivors and most of the population relocated to space stations. Onboard the Celestial, one of the main stations in the galaxies, is 21 year old Mabel "Mae" Minerva. Forced to board the Celestial as a child many years ago along with her younger sister, Mae has always felt out of place in the galaxy, always preferring to spend her time rebuilding old space equipment then seeking the company of other humans. Though when a rumor is spread that her mother may be alive back on Earth, Mae springs into action to steal an armored spacecraft in hopes to save her mother from an unnatural death back on Earth. But when her miscalculations and malfunctioning ship takes her off course, she crash lands on a planet deemed to be uninhabitable. Until she meets an alien who burns hotter then the sun and who knows too much, and too little, about her kind.

*now available on all retailers* Amber How do you politely refuse when the only guy to star in any of your dirty fantasies has just offered to put you up for the foreseeable future and your brother's just accepted like you were in fact still thirteen and couldn't make decisions for yourself? You don't. And, you end up with a roommate who wears a very good elegant mask over the rough and tumble, bad boy core I remember far too well. Only, it's ten years later and I'm even nerdier than I used to be. It's ten years later and I couldn't look worse. It's ten years later and I can't keep one guy. It's ten years later and my brother still teases me mercilessly in front of him. It's ten years later and Kit somehow looks even better than the guy I spent my formative years crushing on. Except, there might just be a smouldering heat in Kit's eyes that suggests he's not quite as out of my league as I thought. Just maybe, this geek is about to get a whole lot of chaos. Kit When I find out about my best mate's little sister's situation, the offer is out of my mouth before I can stop it; Hawk's like a brother to me even if Amber's never looked twice at me. I could never tell if she was scared of me or hated me. But the deal is done. She's going to bring her bedraggled self upstairs to my penthouse and live with me for as long as she needs. I see the pain she hides away, I see the lack of confidence despite how smart she is, how good. If there's something I've learned, it's that confidence makes all the difference. So, it becomes my mission to help Amber find her confidence. But I find more than confidence in her and suddenly I'm seeing my best mate's little sister completely differently. Except, there might be something in the way she smiles at me that gives me hope I'm not as far out of her league as I thought. It might just be time that this chaos gets a little geek.
