"Give it back!" I declared, reaching up for my glasses, but failing miserably.

"Make me." He teased me, waving my metal frames around in the space above my head.

"You're such an asshole!" I exclaimed while glaring at his defined face.

He smirked down at me and continued to tease me, placing the frame on his face.

"Wow, you're blind as bat."

Layla Copeland has lived a relatively normal life; her family was alive and happy, she wasn't rich but she was happy, and she recently graduated from high school. She had plenty of reasons to celebrate the life she's given; that is until the tornado hit. She loses family in the tragedy and moves out of California to a small town in Pennsylvania to get a fresh start.
