There was no doubt that Evangeline was strange. In fact, so strange that when she waddled around school in a fluffy tutu, dirty and torn converse skidding against the floor, no one thought twice of it.  They were all too busy harassing and abusing her to question her outfit choices of course. So when she took her own life leaving her best friend, Mercy, behind, again no one thought twice of it.  The only thing that brought people's attention was the fact that students began to drop like flies: one by one.
