" You burst awake blinded by the bright red room. The metallic cuffs that chain you to the bed blink green and whirrs open. The room is red on all sides except for one. The side with the door as a shining white and next to the door, in a large bold font, reads the number '104.'" - A short story by me.

... "CLOSE THE DOOR!" "I-I- I can't!" I managed to whisper back, barely audible. I waited. I didn't hear anything. I dared to take my eyes off the thing, still keeping my light on it, and look up as far as I could without moving my head. I saw a tentacle, black and white striped, snaking out of the hole in the ceiling, and moving across towards the doors. A white face with black streaks like tears shone down on me, with black holes for eyes, with two little white lights like eyes in them, and a smiling mouth that had the sharpest teeth I'd ever seen. Suddenly, a pounding came from the doors and I flinched- the light fell from my hand and spilled flickering light on the doors. My heart was pounding and felt like it would explode out of my chest. I woke up. I was in an unknown place. I couldn't remember anything, so I started searching for clues to find my existence there. I headed towards the exit keeping in mind that I have to get out of there at any cost. I opened the door and looked behind to find I was in a hotel. 'Room number 707' as it read. I woke up sitting in a chair with my hands tied behind me and my head pounding, I couldn't see much of anything past myself under the lamp beating down on my head. I tried to look around it was no use the rest of the room was too dark, I could hear voices from outside the door but I couldn't make out what the two men were talking about, as I thought that the door opened a crack and I just could make out what was being discussed....

"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. I mean like seriously, EX; has she not heard of that quote, 'Thanks for the EXperience, Our time has EXpired, now EXit my life.' She is one clueless bimbo. TEASER: I sit comfortably in my makeshift shelter, planning my next voyage to the surface. Faint footsteps above ground snap me out of my thought. I silently reached to my loaded gun, an SKO Shorty, and carefully pulled back the hammer. I silently crept up the unstable metal stairs, aiming my gun at the door at the top. The heavy metal door creaked. Something was behind it. The door pushes open to reveal a man. A human. He slowly reaches into his pocket and pulls out a crinkled yellow paper. I grab the note, while lowering my gun. I look up only to find the man gone. I unfold the paper. It's hard to make out the words in red ink with the dim lighting of the sewer tunnel. Eventually, I'm able to decipher, "34.0522' N, 118.2437' W". Coordinates. At the bottom of the note, scribbled out in black in, there's one phrase.
