Mahal na mahal ni Kendrick si Yanzdel ganon din si Yanzdel ngunit nakatakda siyang ipakasal sa ibang babae. Ganon din si Yanzdel.
Ginawa nilang dalawa ang lahat para ipaglaban ang kanilang pagmamahalan

 Pinabugbog si Kendrick ng ina ni Yanzdel mismo sa harapan niya at binantang papatayin kung ipagpatuloy nila ang kanilang kahibangan.

 Harapan mismo ni Kendrick binugbog at ipagagahasa ng lolo ang babaeng pinamamahal sa mga tauhan nito saka papatayin kung hindi nito pakasalan bukas ang babaeng itinakda nila para sa kanya. Kahit labag sa kalooban ay pumayag siya para sa kaligtasan ni Yanzdel

Sa araw ng kanikanila kasal mapapansin ang mga pasa at sugat sa kanilang mukha.
Habang naglalakad palapit sa lalakeng pakasalan gustong gusto ni Yanzdel umatras tumakbo palabas ng simbahan. Mugto ang mga mata sa kakaiyak. Ngunit ng humarap sa kanya ang lalakeng papakasalan umiyak siya nakangiti.
