The Lonely Someone
"No, no no, I'm late again!" I rush past all the people slowly dragging their way around. I looked down at my watch 5:51pm beeps at me. This has happened three times already. I told the people at the meeting that I had to go, but did they really care? No, or I wouldn't had been late again. I huffed and puffed as I took my last few steps to my destination. I really hope I'm not too late; it's like clockwork if you ask me, my whole day runs by and somehow I always end at this very point.
I look over the bay's calming water; past the busy buildings towards the tall dark figure towering over everything.

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...
The Promise
I'm dropping off Brook home and when I get back my clothes better be hung up and we will talk about this later!" He doesn't wait for a response from me and leaves. I realize this isn't Leo this person has a figure of someone familiar and my brain starts to panic but my heart is calm. They bend down and touch my head. But I still find my body too tired to wake up just my conscience. "Rose..." Connor is here? "How can you let that man walk all over you and talk to you like that? You simply added curves and that ass is very appealing to me in my opinion that man has it all to what I'm looking at right now.. " From all of the yelling I simply crook out "Connor... what are y..you.. do..doing here?" he smiles brushing my bangs out of my face. " Shhhh.....I wanted to make sure you are happy." He says as he slowly reaches me and wipes my dried tears. I don't speak I start to lose my sense of conscience. I hear him say one more thing "Not until I see my Rose truly bloom again. As I promised" he whispers into my ear. Then I doze off to sleep.

He was dead. Somehow, between him dying and me freaking out, I had an epiphany; I saw when people were going to die. And then I officially had my first panic attack since my mom died. β Boysenberry Moonchild Roxburgh is your average girl who happened to get hit by lightening, starts seeing when people are going to die, meets a soul reaper and his pissed off half brother, gets hired by death and is being constantly annoyed by a stalker black cat and her dead mother who she can now see. You Were Always a Daydreamer Draft Version
When you're forced to mask Reality with Fantasy. The lifted layers finally unveil the tombstone of self. The biggest cities into the tiniest pebbles The massive ideas and thoughts formed into merely something to fear. A protagonist who already forgot his name Remembers He is a Daydreamer. Which is the only way to cope with life after multiple tragedies. And the fraud on fake friends faces. Only to daydream. As losing touch takes a toll on that rotting indulgence slowly. This get's quite horrific as it goes on. It's not to enjoy but to reflect on and experience. I decided to publish the draft version, because I don't think I can fully finish YWAADD final edition any time soon. I am in the worst mental and emotional state ever. It's quite a struggle and I suffer heavily. So yeah, the polished draft kind of holds up aswell too. The final one is way longer and eventful. So, um yeah I don't expect this to get attention at all, it's kind of really mid in some parts. But enjoy, or don't I guess. Yes this was inspired by Everywhere At The End Of Time.
