Charlotte is 17 and she lives with her cousin and her aunt because of a car crash years ago that killed her mother and father. Her cousin, being one to kick you when you're down raped her from when she was 11 up until now. He always tell her not to tell or else but one day someone moved in right next to them. Brody has always been a bad boy with a guarded heart but when Charlotte came to his door in the middle of the night on a school night crying and drunk off her ass spilling about everything that her cousin has ever done to her his walls Come crashing down. Can he help her escape from the hell she calls a life or will he push her away and continue his bad boy road?

She didn't reply and I felt her finger move across my skin, lower, and almost all the way down my lower back. A shiver coursed through my body, strangely pleasant, and I felt her finger stop. "Your tattoos are beautiful," she said softly. Too close. She was too close. My pulse was hammering and I could feel her cool breath against my skin when she spoke, and my body was warm from having felt her. I couldn't reply. My breathing was light and shaken. I wanted to just turn around and pull her against me, or rather put her against a wall, so I could kiss her and feel her more properly against me. If she touched me again, I wasn't sure that I could keep myself from doing just that. "I'm going to take a shower," I said suddenly in an attempt to escape. She didn't stop me, so I took that opportunity to walk away. When I reached the bathroom, I took a deep breath to steady myself as well as my pulse. Promiscuity is addictive. It's so safe. You are not at risk of getting hurt, physically maybe , But emotionally ? No And the emotional pain is by far the worst. I know this because I've experienced both. Physical pain, from my alcoholic father, sexual abuse from his friends. It hurt, it really did. I have scars to show. But let me tell you, the worst type of hurt is the emotional pain. That pain you get when after years of building a wall around yourself, you FINALLY let someone in.
