She's gone. 
They're both... gone.  
"The girl who waited and the last centurion," I tested their nicknames on my lips, hoping to get a small flicker of happiness, but I was only met by the weight on my heart doubling. 
A tear slipped down my cheek that soon turned into a waterfall. 
They're gone.
Dead. 

The Doctor is heartbroken, devastated after the death of Amy and Rory.
His heart and mind opens to the screams of humans on Earth. 
One stands out, a little girl screaming, "PAPA".

Then I heard it.  A young girl screaming "PAPA!," a piercing scream, "PAPA AHH PAPA", louder than all the other cries of children or anyone in the world echoing in my mind. Heartbreaking. Even more than I could feel with two hearts. 

After walking for five minutes in the uniform tree line, I saw a tall fence surrounding an ominous brown building which somewhat resembled a prison. There were no windows, only wire mesh lining the entire building and hard concrete pillars in between. 
Surely the girl I'm looking for couldn't be in here? 


The Doctor uncovers a girl with a dark secret, will the Doctor save her or will she drag him down with her so they both burn.

First they had to find Eleven.
Now they have to find Twenty Two.

A dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions.
"a catch-22 situation".

Their encounters go from an accidental meeting on the street to an art exhibition in her room, when he shows up at the orphanage in the middle of the night. What will happen when he'll find out about her dreams? WIll Lizzie finally have her questions answered? About who she is, who her parents were and why they abandoned her with nothing but a strange jammed watch to keep her company? Lizzie will have to travel through time and space, meet people and aliens, friends of the Doctor and all of his different regenerations. All under a false identity, in an attempt to prevent a collapse in the time's continuum. What will happen when she will fall in love with her childhood hero, as she bounces from timeline to timeline and discovers things about his past? Join the Doctors, his most popular companions, and two surprise guests as they unravel the mystery of the Menagerie! This was fun to write, as I have been a fan of Doctor Who since I was nine years old during the Tom Baker era. I studied hard to try to capture each Doctor's personality as they speak and interact, although I do admit that having a cast of 28 causes several characters to get lost within the dialogue. I made this as canonically correct as possible, pulling each Doctor and his corresponding companion from episodes to make this possible, but if you catch me in an error... I claim AU! Ha ha. It is for all intents and purposes a Capaldi episode, within his first season, long before Face the Raven. This is a Doctor Who fanfic for superfans only, as the entire first section only describes each Doctor by his attire, so you have to guess which is which by their apparel and companions. If you aren't familiar with each and every Doctor, this story will get very confusing. That being said, I hope you enjoy!

"Vixen!" He growled behind us. The sound of roaring engines deafened me. I could barely hear anything. We jumped down the steps and onto the pavement below. I looked back and saw Max just jump down the whole flight. Without hesitation too. The Doctor pulled me across the lot, "Vixen!!" I could hear the anger in his voice. Oh, it was either run or die for me now. I looked back once again and saw his eyes were dead black, his teeth looked sharper from a distance, and I was so scared, he looked like his muscles grew bigger, "Run!" The Doctor yelled at me. I focused on running. Where are we gonna go anyhow? I don't think Max is ever gonna stop chasing me. Not until I'm dead. Who am I? I'm a girl with no past. Well, not a good one anyway. I've had a terrible childhood, nothing good about it and now it carries on into my adult life. Well, what am I to do? Nothing, exactly. There's nothing I can do. But I did meet this one guy at the airport one day. Kind of a weird dude considering he calls himself The Doctor and seems to bring along girls to his "Trips". Yeah, that's how I got caught up in all of this, just comes up to me and asked "Do you wanna go on a trip?" Yeah, like that works. Ha! Well, funny enough, it did and now Max is after me and I'm running around with this guy. But this guy....this stranger....was the best thing that ever happened to me.
