What is it about life that is so random, so unexpected?
One minute, everything is perfect. You have the perfect family, relationship, friendships. And the next you're alone, with nobody to trust and nobody to pick up the pieces when it all goes wrong.
For seventeen year old Anastasia Ramone, once surrounded by friends who she could trust and a family she could always lean on, this much was true. At least until she left them for drugs alcohol and a place corrupted by the depressed and angry and she became someone completely different.
Perhaps finding the person that will ground her, and stop all of her lying and bad habits is what she needs. But perhaps none of it will be enough.
After all... black stains are hard to scrub out.
Maybe that's why she wishes it would rain.
