Gerard's life was almost perfect; hot boyfriend, good relationship with his family, great job as a professional comics illustrator, and he even managed to get a lavish apartment with his childhood best friend, Jamia. After nearly two years of struggling against the vivid nightmares that follow him in his sleep, Gerard goes out to break the cycle in the only way he can really think of: attacking it at its very source. " Some parts may be organised weirdly because of how it was written, originally on ao3 it was one page with many paragraphs, so i cut the paragraphs down into somewhat concise chapters, so it's easier to read and bookmark, but due to how it's written it may be cut at strange places between chapters. No edits have been made to the original fanfiction though.
