If there's anything worse than death, it's losing one's self. 19 years after the Second Wizarding War, we only managed to hear snippets of Draco Malfoy and his wife, Astoria (nee Greengrass). Eventually, then, the untimely death of the witch. We only knew of a Greengrass family curse that managed to kill her -- but such an ancestral curse goes as far as its involvement with the Malfoys. Let us take you back several years, when the world was so cruel and dark that a single ray of light would die in an instant. The Dark Lord has returned, and only so much can happen in the span of dark times. If I Lose Myself follows the lives of Astoria Greengrass and Draco Malfoy during the return of the Dark Lord, how they came to be and how they conquered their own demons. This is losing themselves, but finding each other in the heart of a war.
