||Book 1 of the Diamond Series|| The world had fallen into chaos a long time ago. Creatures came and enslaved the human race: Vampires, Lycans/Werewolves and Demons. They took and slaughtered thousands of innocent people. Men, Women and Children. After suffering for ten years, another set of beings came. They had enormous wings and a shining silver rings floating above their heads. Rings that could be used as a weapon if necessary. These creatures were called 'Angels'. They were kind and honestly the opposite of every supernatural creature that existed in that era. They built their kingdom protecting as many humans as they could but the dark creatures had other things planed. There was a war that broke out. Every man for themselves or more specifically, every creature for themselves.The war went on for almost 500 years. Then there was a woman. She wasn't an Angel or Vampire or Lycan or Demon. Turns out she was a hybrid of all four. More powerful than anything. No one knows for sure how this hybrid was made and at some point, no one cared. Her name was Elaka. She was seen as a priestess. Elaka was the savior of all humans. She created a boarder and the world was divided in two: The Land of Light; was so peaceful that it had to be shielded from the world. Elaka had put a protective hidden wall around the kingdom so no one would come in unless brought in by the citizens. There were humans that lived there and their lives were a paradise. And total peace. And there was the Dark land. Where every other creature lived. The three major kingdoms tolerated each other for as long as they could. Years passed without war. Until Elaka suddenly vanished. Without her, the world would become chaotic again. The crystal was lost in the forest. So many have searched for it but never succeeded. Even if they ever found it, the legend says it was set in stone. It was glued to a tree and only 'The Diamond in The Rough' could pull it out. That person was never found.Terminé
Seeds of Sorcery
Prologue: The Prophecy In ancient times, it was said that a great power would arise, a power that would bring magic back to the forefront of the worlds. It was said that this power would be born of lightning and fire and that it would be wielded by a mage of great strength and courage. The world would face great upheaval and danger, but magic would be the key to survival. There will come those who will unite the kingdoms and empires, and they will bring an end to the darkness that has long shadowed the land. It was said that these mages would be the saviour of the worlds and that they would bring hope and light to all. But for many years, the prophecy remained unfulfilled. Magic seemed to be ending, few remained that could wield it. The darkness seemed to grow. The people slowly forgot and those that remembered lost hope, the kingdoms and empires fell and changed and with it brought chaos. But then, one day, a young girl was born in a small village far from the capital. She was born under the sign of lightning, and she had the power of magic within her. And so, the prophecy began. The first of them had arisen, and the journey to bring magic back had begun.
Her own way
War. One act of violence tore families apart and sent royalty into hiding. Fleeing from the burning ruins of her home, Princess Katrina and her mother are forced into hiding, leaving behind all that they knew only for it to be taken away again. Left alone and afraid, an incident forces the very young princess to lose her memories and forget all about who she is and where she belongs. Discovered by a woodsman and his son, she becomes a member of the family. Raised with love and care, she yearns to run free in the forest until one day men come searching for the lost princess. An attack on her family sends her deep into the forest where all her troubles seem to begin. Now she is trying desperately to get back to where she belongs. She will encounter many difficulties but no matter what she keeps trying to be true to herself and find her own way home. ***A/N*** I did have a different description, and tags. All of this story is my own work, stemming from a short story I wrote for a fb game competition back in 2011 which is the only story that should have similarities! Before he does anything, however, he has to find the other child of the prophecy before anyone else does to fulfill the prophecy. Will the perilous journey through tribe territory get him killed because of his so-called "dangerous" abilities or will he survive long enough to see the war finally come to an end as he's always hoped it would? After a catastrophic accident all of existence had collapsed into a single world, massively accelerating the evolution of mankind as people begin to awaken abilities and powers. Some assume the mantle of superhero's and saviors, while others use their newfound strength to accomplish more dastardly goals and ambitions. Humans slowly begin to realize that the earth they once knew is no more. As monsters, demons, angels, gods and beings of fairy tales begin to reveal themselves en masse. Even those that had perished long ago had somehow been brought back to life in this catastrophe with nothing separating the land of the living from that of the dead. Faced with new dangers and new allies humanity finds itself at the brink of extinction while the ones that caused this catastrophe try desperately to restore the world to what it once was. The laws of the jungle and the laws of the universe are king in this new world where death waits around the corner hungry and lurking for his next victim. Can Ethan restore the world he once knew as his home or will he be forced to adapt to this new world and make a new home for himself and his loved ones.
