"She's my daughter!" I almost shouted, my face growing red with anger. "I may not have given birth to her, but she's my own flesh and blood!" He just looked at me, an insufferable smirk across his handsome face, "well, she's my daughter too, and I'm the one who actually had a part in creating her." "So, what do you suggest?" A wicked grin spread across his face, "well, she is 'our' daughter, and that means we are her parents, in some complicated way, so.." "So what?" "So what do parents normally do? They live together, of course." I choked on air, "w-what did y-you say?" He smirked and held up a document, "and I just so happen to have a signed piece of paper from the authorities saying it will be fine if I live here for a year to let my daughter get used to me, so buckle up, Princess, you're in for one hell of a ride." Oh f*ck no! ************************** UPDATES ARE REALLY SLOW!!! **************************

She was the daughter they didn't want. The girl her own family blamed for everything - for her brother's disappearance, for the grief they chose to wear as rage. For ten years, Amara Rose Willemson survived beatings, silence, and starvation. She kept her head down, her secrets locked, and her love for a family that did not love her back. Then came the night everything broke. One accident. One name she didn't recognize. One family who looked at her like she was something worth fighting for. She woke up as Rosa. She doesn't remember the pain. She doesn't remember the years of cruelty. And she doesn't remember him - the dark-eyed man who once watched her suffer and felt nothing but satisfaction. Xavier King Knight has never wanted anything he didn't get. But the girl he loved in silence, then hurt in silence, doesn't know his face anymore. And the man who could buy countries and break empires finds himself standing in the cold outside her gate for seven days - waiting for a girl who doesn't owe him a single second of her time. She forgot everything he did to her. He remembers every last thing. Does she deserve to be loved? She always did. The question is whether the people around her finally deserve her.
